Travel Psych Nurse (RN) in Greensboro, NC

Deliver specialized psychiatric nursing care in a dynamic behavioral health setting located in Greensboro, NC. This travel nursing opportunity requires an experienced RN with a focus on psychiatric care, providing support to adolescent, adult, and pediatric patients within an established healthcare system. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients diagnosed with MDD, Bipolar Disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and substance abuse.
• Manage patient care with established nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6.
• Support adolescents, adults, and pediatric populations with individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain compliance with all facility policies.
• Float between various healthcare locations as required.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records efficiently in daily operations.
• Uphold safety and care standards, including passing the mandatory EKG exam.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 1 year psychiatric nursing experience.
• BLS and STARR certification are mandatory.
• Prior charge RN experience is required.
• Experience working with diverse psychiatric patient populations.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.).
• Flexible with scheduling, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
