Ultrasound Technologist IIISee More Clearly. Care More Deeply.As an Ultrasound Technologist III at Froedtert South, you'll perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing a reassuring and compassionate experience for every patient.You'll work across a broad range of ultrasound services, using your technical expertise and clinical judgment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and support physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment.What You'll DoPerform routine and specialized diagnostic ultrasound examinations.Perform portable, emergency, and other specialized ultrasound studies.Operate and maintain ultrasound and ancillary equipment.Follow established protocols and ACR standards to maximize diagnostic image quality.Assist radiologists and physicians with biopsies, cyst aspirations, and other procedures.Prepare procedure rooms and maintain appropriate sterile technique.Schedule examinations and provide patients with preparation instructions.Explain procedures and answer patient questions in a professional and compassionate manner.Recognize and report equipment malfunctions and assist with maintaining equipment performance.Accurately document examinations and patient information.Participate in department coverage, including on-call responsibilities as assigned.What We're Looking ForAssociate Degree and graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology program.Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.ARDMS registry in three or more applicable disciplines, including Abdominal, Obstetrics, Breast, and/or Vascular.At least three months of full-time sonographer experience or equivalent.Pay & Benefits$37.50 - $57.00 per hour | Differentials for PMs, Nights & WeekendPay is based on experience.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance403(b) retirement plan with company matchTuition reimbursementPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee discount programProfessional development opportunitiesWhy Froedtert South?Ultrasound combines advanced technology with direct patient interaction.
