The Company is in search of a Vice President of Pharmacy Consulting to take on a pivotal role in leading and expanding its pharmacy consulting practice. The successful candidate will be a strategic advisor to employers, guiding them through the dynamic pharmacy benefits landscape to achieve optimal clinical and financial outcomes. This leadership position involves close collaboration with a range of stakeholders, including clients, consultants, PBMs, carriers, and vendor partners, to develop and implement innovative pharmacy strategies that deliver measurable value. Key responsibilities for the VP include serving as the primary pharmacy expert for a diverse client base, overseeing the development of comprehensive pharmacy benefit strategies, and providing strategic guidance on all aspects of pharmacy benefit management. Applicants for the VP of Pharmacy Consulting role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree such as a PharmD, MBA, MPH, or related field preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmacy consulting, PBM consulting, employee benefits consulting, managed care, or a related healthcare environment is required, along with a deep understanding of pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, and employer-sponsored health plans. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in managing executive-level client relationships, leading complex projects, and possessing strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities are essential, as is the capacity to mentor and develop junior consultants and analysts. The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmacy consulting within a relevant industry setting and established relationships within the pharmacy and healthcare ecosystem.
