Job Overview - Registered Nurse (RN):
Join our client as a Registered Nurse (RN) in East Fishkill, NY. This day-shift position is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional with experience in patient care, clinical assessments, and treatment administration. You will play a key role in coordinating patient care, supporting medical teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols in a hospital, medical office, or clinical setting.

Compensation: $55/hour
Location: East Fishkill, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (RN):

• Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Clinical Care & Treatment: Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and prescribed treatments.
• Patient Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and families on disease management and post-care instructions.
• Medical Team Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Safety & Emergency Response: Follow infection control protocols and respond to medical emergencies.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (RN):

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State with current registration.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a hospital, medical office, or clinical setting required (or 1 year as an RN with 2 years as an LPN in a relevant practice area).
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred).
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), clinical documentation systems, and medical equipment.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient-centered communication skills.
