Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Location: Wendell, NC Employment: Temp to Hire Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $19.50 + $1.50 shift differential to total $21.00/hour 2nd shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm. What You'll Do: Assemble and wire low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment, including motor control centers, circuit breakers, switchgear, EV chargers, and solar inverters. Complete mechanical subassembly work, including steel components, parts kits, control wiring, power cables, and wire interconnections. Read and follow bills of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, layouts, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly. Use torque wrenches and other tools correctly, complete basic wiring tasks as needed and maintain accurate job records. Follow established manufacturing processes, prioritize workplace safety, and identify opportunities to improve assembly methods and efficiency. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly of components, structures, or subassemblies in a manufacturing or production environment.
