Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)

Description Central Laboratory - General Laboratory Location: 2434 Interstate Plaza Dr. Hammond, Indiana 46324 Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation FTE: 1.0 WHY ALVERNO We are a highly reliable scientific organization building a culture of service. WHAT WILL YOU DO. This individual is responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results, in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards, to provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months of related experience is preferred.
Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required.
WHAT WILL YOU DO.
