Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a hospital in Kansas City, MO. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. This role supports a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center and offers varied caseload exposure including bedside swallow evaluations and opportunities for video swallow studies. Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA required.
• Active Missouri state license required to start assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Experience performing bedside swallow evaluations required. Videofluoroscopic swallow study experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation preferred.
• Willingness to float between acute care and rehab units.
• Adherence to facility dress code: gray scrubs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke program.
• Previous inpatient rehab (IRF) caseload management experience.
• Experience with diverse patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekends preferred but flexible.
• No on-call requirements.
• Floating required to cover both acute care and inpatient rehab.
