Overview
Premier NYC employment law firm seeks experienced Senior/Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience doing employment litigation work with strong writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery and motions and extensive writing experience
- Ability to handle complex cases
- Conduct legal research
- Make court appearances in courts in NYC and surrounding area
- Provide exemplary legal counsel and representation
- Delegate casework to legal support staff
Requirements
- NY State Admission
- 3+ years of employment litigation (plaintiff or defense)
- Strong Writing Skills
- Ability to be on-site in NYC Financial District office
- Experience with any or all of the following statutes is highly preferred:
- - Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- - The New York State Human Rights Law
- - The New York City Human Rights Law
