We are seeking a dedicated Director of Quality & Risk to lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and risk management strategies within our organization. This senior-level role involves fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure the highest standards of care and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality and risk management programs that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to monitor and improve quality metrics and patient outcomes.
- Conduct risk assessments and establish protocols to minimize organizational exposure.
- Oversee investigations and responses to adverse events, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives, utilizing data to identify trends and drive evidence-based solutions.
- Educate staff on quality and risk management policies, ensuring organization-wide engagement.
- Prepare and present reports on quality and risk management activities to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management and risk management roles within a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) and risk management methodologies.
- Certification in quality or risk management (e.g., CPHQ, CPPS) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
