Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Locations vary. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a Level IV Trauma Center, supporting adult and pediatric patients across multiple facilities. The position requires flexibility to float between units per unit needs and may involve variable night/evening shifts.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required.
• Education Requirements: Appropriate RN licensure and valid state license, including compact licenses in hand at submission.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must have at least 1 year of ER experience and a minimum of 1 year of recent patient care experience.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in emergency nursing; experience working in a Trauma Level I or II facility preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional responsibilities include functioning in a fast-paced environment, float between units, and support varied patient needs including trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies.
• Candidates must provide 2 references covering at least 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start.
• Travel experience is not explicitly required but may be advantageous.
• The position requires having a vehicle for travel between multiple facilities.
• Candidates must respond to compliance questions, including prior work at a Providence facility and references, during submission.
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• If required, the facility will provide communication devices at no cost or will reimburse authorized mobile phone use up to a specified amount.
• No call-in policy: Candidates should not contact facility directly unless for an interview scheduled through the assigned account manager.
