Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: October (as soon as possible)
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: 8-10 hour weekday OR shifts + call; 10 hour shifts + call
• Call: 12 hour call; low callback volume; mostly from home; occasional callback for epidurals; no set rotation

Clinical Details

• EMR System: Epic
• Practice Settings: Mostly inpatient (75% inpatient / 25% outpatient), OR setting
• Patients Per Day: 1-5; GI room can be up to 10
• Support Staff: CRNAs in independent practice model; ratio to physicians varies
• Trauma Level: Level 2; Level 3; Critical Access
• Skills: General anesthesia, sedation, ventilator management, surgical cases, obstetrical cases, vascular surgery, orthopedic cases, spinal block, epidural, nerve block, intravenous regional anesthesia, arterial line, central line, regional anesthesia

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Licenses: OR license; willingness to obtain DEA/CSR
• Preferred items: At least 1 year of CRNA experience; ability to cover call
