Job Details Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 11+ Months with possible extension Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite) Pay Range: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour Job Summary We seek a dynamic hybrid SDE + Systems Engineer to enhance our infrastructure operations through innovative automation, effective problem-solving, and efficient use of technology. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of servers, operating systems, and networks to design robust solutions, drive technical innovations, and improve operational workflows. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing scalable, efficient, and automated server monitoring and management solutions. Responsibilities Understand and improve the performance and scalability of commodity servers, operating systems, and networks. Employ superior troubleshooting, project management, and problem analysis techniques. Propel technical innovation and operational efficiency through automation. Design and implement server monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair mechanisms. Enhance operational workflows and customer impact through effective process development. Must-Have Skills Proficient in Linux/UNIX operating systems. Expertise in system troubleshooting and problem analysis. Strong proficiency in automation via Perl/Python programming and shell scripting. Industry Experience Required Previous experience in deploying and operating Linux or UNIX in a datacenter environment is required. Knowledge of standard internet protocols, security best practices, and SQL queries is essential.
