Director of Physical Therapy Newnan, GA - Outpatient 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Provides oversight for development, direction, and coordination of all Physical Therapy staff. Responsible for updating PT policies and procedures. Responsible for reviewing PT workflow and processes to ensure billing and documentation requirements are met daily, including PT orders, procedure documentation, signed forms, etc. Develops and maintains departmental budgets, reports on variances monthly, and oversees overall budget management. Maintains all PT regulatory guidelines and standards. Manages all aspects of PT inventory management, including supply ordering, receiving, stocking, paying invoices, reviewing and requesting new products, reporting abnormalities, and scheduling staff to meet patient needs. Assists staff and physicians with problem-solving regarding brace types and fittings suitable for patients' needs. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and corporate personnel. Ensures PT staff provide direct patient care activities as assigned and maintain high-quality care standards. Ensures all physician needs regarding rehabilitative services are met and that the rehab department complies with Medicare billing standards. Plans and administers medically prescribed PT treatments to restore function, prevent disability, and relieve pain. Consults with physicians and other departments about PT's impact on patient health status. Documents patient findings, treatments, and other relevant information for medical records. Bills patients according to proper procedures. Educates patients and families on appropriate care, therapies, and exercises. Conducts staff meetings at least quarterly. Serves as an educational resource for patients, families, and therapy staff.
