Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)
Schedule: 7-on / 7-off | Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP or PA who wants to practice in a high-acuity, collaborative environment caring for complex post-operative cardiac and thoracic patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage post-operative cardiac and thoracic patients in the CVICU
• Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and the care team

Perform procedures as credentialed and appropriate, which may include:

• Central line placement
• Arterial line placement
• Intubation
• Dialysis line placement
• Other bedside critical care interventions (as credentialed)

Candidate Qualifications:

• Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Current Florida licensure, or ability to obtain
• National board certification
• ACNP preferred for NPs
• CVICU, critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, or ICU experience preferred
• Strong acute care / ICU background considered
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
