The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting with the supervision of the daily operations, administration and services provided by the Recreation Department located at each reservation of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The incumbent assists with the planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive year-round recreational program, while ensuring compliance with all applicable STOF and Department Policies, Procedures; and the effective and efficient delivery of customer service. Considerable independent judgment and initiative is exercised in conformance with STOF operating policies and procedures. High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associates Degree with a course work in Recreation, Parks Management, Physical Education, or related field is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising recreation programs is required; or any equivalent combination of education/ training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid State of Florida Driver's License is a requirement for this job. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must have the ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Benefits:
