This outpatient Physical Therapist role is based in Rockwall, a thriving lakeside community just east of Dallas. Rockwall offers a blend of small-town charm and big-city access, with beautiful views of Lake Ray Hubbard, a walkable historic downtown, and an array of restaurants, shops, parks, and water activities.

Residents enjoy outdoor recreation such as boating, paddleboarding, lakeside trails, and community events, while still being within an easy drive of the cultural, entertainment, and professional opportunities of the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area. The clinic is a modern outpatient physical therapy center designed to support high-quality, evidence-based care.

As a Physical Therapist here, you will work in a collaborative, professional environment focused on patient-centered outcomes and continuous clinical growth.

You will manage an outpatient caseload that typically includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical patients, sports-related injuries, and work-related issues. A typical day involves conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on interventions and therapeutic exercise tailored to each patient’s goals and functional needs.

Clinical responsibilities include performing thorough musculoskeletal assessments, establishing functional goals, and providing interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as appropriate. You will educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term results. Communication with referring physicians and other healthcare providers is an important part of the role to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Patient scheduling is designed to allow for meaningful one-on-one treatments, appropriate follow-up visits, and consistent reassessment of progress. Caseload volume is aligned with outpatient standards, allowing you to focus on clinical quality while contributing to clinic productivity. The clinic environment supports collaboration among therapists and support staff, with opportunities to consult on complex cases and share best practices.

Shifts are generally daytime clinic hours on weekdays, with the possibility of occasional extended hours depending on patient and clinic needs. The schedule provides a predictable routine that supports work-life balance, while still allowing engagement with the vibrant activities and amenities Rockwall and the surrounding area have to offer.
