Nexus Employment Solutions Plus is hiring CNC Machinists and Manual Lay Operators in the Danville, IL area. Candidates must have previous hands-on experience in CNC machining and/or manual lay operations.
Pay & Schedule
- Full Time
- Monday–Friday
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Starting Pay: Approximately $24/hour
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery and/or perform manual lay operations
- Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and follow job specifications, measurements, and work instructions
- Measure parts accurately and maintain quality standards
- Monitor equipment and production processes
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience with CNC machining and/or manual lay operations required
- Strong mechanical and manufacturing skills
- Ability to read and follow measurements and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
- Willingness to complete a hands-on skills test as part of the interview process
Interview Process
Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a hands-on test during the interview to demonstrate their CNC machining and/or manual lay experience.
