Dietary Lead

Location: 2500 Barton Creek Blvd, Austin, Texas 78735 Salary: $18.22 - $25.08 per hour Dietary Assistant Lead As a Dietary Assistant Lead at Lifespace, you will oversee meal distribution, engage residents and guests, direct dietary aides, and maintain inventory and safety standards. Responsibilities Maintain a high level of resident and guest engagement. Oversee the distribution of meals according to diet orders, ensuring quality, quantity, and temperature control. Provide work direction and assignments to dietary aides. Communicate ongoing performance feedback. Orient new team members on department procedures and equipment use. Initiate menu counts of normal and special diets, provide weekly tally/production sheets, print and distribute resident dietary cards. Control itemized food, beverage, and supply inventory; maintain par levels and track supplies. Record daily logs, temperature readings, and audit dates listed on stored food and supplies. Facilitate the safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of dining rooms, serving kitchens, and workstations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
