POSITION SUMMARY
Process and close loans in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Bank policy and procedures. Follow up on missing documentation and assist with the input of all collateral files on the Bank’s Collateral Tracking System.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Provide daily loan interface + maintenance
· Track insurance on new and existing loans
· Post and correct payments
· Maintain credit and real estate file
· Perform credit verifications
· Scan loan packages, set up credit and collateral files, follow-up on and retrieval of collateral documentation
· Provide accurate loan information to customers, management, officers and regulators
· Research and resolve loan inquiries in a timely manner
· Perform duties as defined in the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
· Reconcile loans
· Prepare loan reports
· Performs other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· 1 year of experience in banking or financial institutions preferred
· 1-2 years experience in consumer/commercial loan or credit experience a plus
KNOWLEDGE + SKILLS
· Must be proficient with MS Office Suite of Products, specifically Word + Excel
· Must have strong attention to detail, good judgment and decision-making skills
· Must have the ability to present a professional image in dealing with customers, employees and external representatives
· Must be a team player
· Must have a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
· Must be able to exercise personal and professional responsibility and work with limited direction
· Must be able to use tact and diplomacy and communicate effectively via telephone, letters, personal contact, etc
· General knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures preferred, along with General knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS + WORK ENVIROMENT
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time within an office setting
· Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers

· May be requested to attend offsite meetings, training sessions or seminars
· Equipment Utilized includes: computers, telephones, calculators, copiers, scanners, and fax machines
· Work hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week
· Schedule: Monday to Friday
