Validation Technician

We are looking for a Validation Technician to join our team in Goodyear, Arizona. The position is scheduled 7 am-3 pm, but we offer schedule flexibility when needed. The Engineering Validation Technician is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role responsible for executing defined validation, testing, installation support, and pre‑release verification activities for electrical, motor, and controller systems. Responsibilities Execute defined test plans and validation matrices for motors, controllers, VFDs, sensors, and related assemblies. Validate deliverables before Engineering‑controlled shipment. Support field, manufacturing, and engineering teams with structured, repeatable validation work. Perform hands‑on wiring, setup, installation, and commissioning support for engineering test units. Capture pass/fail results, observations, photos, video, and open issues in a clear and repeatable manner. Help maintain validation records, testing evidence, and shared engineering files. Support troubleshooting by filtering and structuring field/shop findings before escalation to engineering. Assist in repeatability testing, retesting, and closure verification after changes. Coordinate with engineering on readiness, test scope, and validation status. Work safely around high‑voltage equipment, motors, and test stands. Learn to connect test observations to common potential failure modes and contribute ideas to troubleshooting discussions (with guidance from engineering). Support cross‑functional product development, electrical engineering, manufacturing, service teams. Required Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of experience with industrial electrical equipment, motors, drives, wiring, or controls. Comfortable working with high‑voltage systems and physical test setups. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, part drawings, and electrical instructions. Ability to work independently in a shop/lab environment. Comfortable using test equipment and following structured test procedures. Basic understanding of voltage, current, motors, VFDs, and control devices. Ability to identify abnormal product behavior and document it clearly. Strong practical troubleshooting mindset. Good communication and teamwork skills across engineering, manufacturing, and service groups.
