About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to providing effective direct care and coordinating activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred. Experience Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
