Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification
• LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt instruction and support across various grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on students’ IEPs
• Employ a range of instructional strategies to engage students with different abilities
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusion, and academic growth
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as required
