Quick Facts: Location: 1 Hospital Road, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557 Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: 12/01/2026 Shift: Night shifts (3x12-hour: 19:00 – 07:00) Hours/Week: Approximately 36 hours Employment Type: Locum / Temporary License/Certs: Massachusetts Medical License, ACLS, DEA Experience: 1+ year in emergency medicine Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $245.90 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team What You'll Do: Provide emergency care to diverse patient populations across all age groups Manage an average of 2.5–3 patients per hour Handle a range of emergency cases with limited onsite specialty support Document patient encounters using Epic EMR Collaborate with hospital staff in a rural critical access setting Ensure patient safety and quality care in a busy ED environment What You Need: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (no internal medicine or family practice) Massachusetts medical license and DEA registered ACLS certification At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience Ability to work night shifts and manage high patient volumes About the Assignment: This critical access hospital in Oak Bluffs serves a diverse patient community with approximately 20–24 patients daily.
