Inspire growth and achievement in young learners as a Special Education Teacher supporting PreK and Kindergarten students. This part-time contract opportunity offers a chance to make a true impact by guiding students with diverse learning needs as they develop foundational skills for lifelong success.

Your expertise will support a nurturing school environment, working with an experienced team onsite. Each day brings meaningful challenges and rewarding breakthroughs as you design and deliver instruction tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Special Education Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate is highly preferred (candidates without certificate may still be considered).
• Experience working with PreK/Kindergarten populations.
• In-depth knowledge of special education procedures and current best practices.
• Strong skills in IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Ability to foster a caring and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Role Highlights:

• Guide and instruct early learners with special needs in a small group setting.
• Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with IEP goals and PreK/Kindergarten curriculum.
