ROLE OVERVIEW

We are an established State Farm insurance agency serving a long-standing client base. We are seeking an experienced bilingual (English + Chinese/Mandarin or Cantonese) Insurance Customer Service & Sales Associate to support our existing clients, handle day-to-day insurance service needs, and assist with in-office and inbound sales opportunities . This is not a cold-calling position . The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working directly with clients, understands how to identify customer needs, and can confidently transition a service conversation into an appropriate insurance discussion or sales opportunity. We are looking for someone with prior customer-facing experience who can communicate professionally, build trust, and take ownership of client needs from initial conversation through follow-up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and is interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide professional bilingual (Chinese/English) customer service to existing and prospective clients Assist clients with policy changes, coverage questions, documentation, billing, and general insurance inquiries Handle inbound and in-office insurance opportunities and assist clients with quotes and appropriate product discussions Identify additional insurance needs during customer conversations and introduce relevant coverage or products when appropriate Build rapport with clients and confidently guide conversations toward solutions and next steps Follow up with clients on pending service requests, quotes, and insurance opportunities Maintain accurate documentation and update internal systems Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely and consistent client service Support general office operations and workflow as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English required Prior customer-facing customer service, insurance, financial services, banking, retail sales, or similar experience strongly preferred Comfortable discussing products, identifying customer needs, and handling inbound sales opportunities Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to work directly with clients by phone and in person Active California insurance license preferred; licensing support may be available for the right candidate Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance customer service, follow-up, and sales-related responsibilities Professional, dependable, and interested in a stable, long-term position

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly compensation: $22-$25 per hour Paid time off and training provided Stable, long-term position with a supportive team environment Hybrid / flexible work-from-home options may be available after onboarding and successful training

中英文客户服务及日常保单事务处理

准确完成系统记录、文件及办公室日常运营工作

与团队成员配合，确保客户问题得到完整处理
