Position Title: Central Processing Technician (CSPT)

Shift: Night Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM



Schedule: 5x8s (GWW40)



Pay Rate: $36.00 - $42.00 Per Hour



Start Date: Immediate Start Available

We are seeking an experienced Travel Central Processing Technician to join a fast-paced healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment while ensuring compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards.

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Assemble surgical instrument trays according to established guidelines.
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
• Maintain accurate sterilization and inventory records.
• Perform quality assurance checks on instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory levels and stock medical supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical services and clinical departments to ensure timely instrument availability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Minimum 2 years of Central Processing or Sterile Processing experience .
• Minimum 1 year of travel assignment experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Central Service Certification required.
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
