Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing services in a designated ICU. Manages acutely ill patients, monitors vital signs, and implements treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data.
Assist with advanced procedures, including ventilator management and patient stabilization.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

Valid and unexpired state RN license.
Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
Ability to care for COVID-positive patients with appropriate safety protocols.
Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills.
Flexibility to work block schedules with varied shift lengths, including 36/48-hour contracts.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
