Manufacturing Technician Core X-Ray 2nd Shift 2pm to 10pm (P)

Snapshot of Your Day: You will be part of the manufacturing process that will result in the production of quality castings in the Gibsonton, Florida location. Our Gas Services division offers low‑emission power generation through service and decarbonization, with all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof. Decarbonization opportunities are provided through service, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet. How You'll Make an Impact Work in the Core Department with X‑ray equipment, applying process knowledge, engineering principles, and creativity to develop and improve manufacturing processes for quality castings. Read and understand engineering procedures to ensure adherence to approved processes. Participate in plant initiatives to reduce scrap and overall casting costs. Perform metal rework to eliminate typical defects on the casting surface. Complete the required manufacturing documentation in Mercury. Collaborate to improve ergonomics and safety conditions of assigned areas. What You Bring High school diploma or GED (required). Previous manufacturing X‑ray or quality/visual inspection experience is a plus. Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored work authorization. Required export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls; candidate must be able to work with export‑controlled technology in compliance with U.S. export control law.
