Personal Training Director
The Personal Training Director is the business owner of the Personal Training department at an assigned club location, accountable for the overall performance, profitability, and member experience of that department. This position leads by example, upholds Company standards, and is the point of reference for fitness expertise within the location. The Personal Training Director recruits, develops, and retains a high-quality training team; maintains accurate Personal Trainer headcount and capacity to meet member demand; and is accountable for the successful attainment of departmental targets, including revenue performance, new-client enrollment, client retention, and client results. In addition to leading the department, the Personal Training Director personally services qualifying Personal Training sessions and maintains an active client base.
This position has leadership responsibility for the Personal Training department at one (1) assigned club location. This position directly manages, or provides leadership oversight for, the following positions: Personal Training Director in Training, Elite Trainer, Master Trainer, Personal Trainer.
Success in this position depends on the following core leadership competencies, in addition to the essential duties described above: Business Acumen — understands the department's revenue and margin drivers and translates business goals into daily execution. People Leadership & Talent Development — builds, coaches, and retains a high-performing training team and develops future leaders. Coaching Excellence — delivers and models professional, results-driven Personal Training and holds the team to that standard. Data-Driven Decision Making — uses performance dashboards and reporting tools to diagnose issues and prioritize action. Member & Client Focus — builds trust with members and drives long-term client results, retention, and lifespan. Accountability & Follow-Through — owns departmental results and closes the loop on commitments without prompting.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
