We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Responsibilities Organize case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate. Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer. Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions. Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers. Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems. Assist attorneys in preparing for family court hearings, providing essential support and maintaining organized records. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure comprehensive case preparation. Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the legal process. Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible. Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement case strategies that align with client goals. Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances, optimizing time management for the team. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Completion of an ABA‑approved paralegal certificate program such as an associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Preferred: paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Talented communicator and writer. Experience in preparing and managing legal documents with precision and efficiency. Ability to assist attorneys in family court hearings, providing reliable support and maintaining organized records. Proven track record of conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and keep them informed. Proficiency in maintaining and updating case files, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible. Collaborative spirit to work seamlessly with the legal team in developing and implementing case strategies. Compensation $40,000 - $60,000 yearly base plus bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
