Outpatient Physical Therapist

Location: Magnolia, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 5x8.0, starting July 6

Job Description: The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates patients to develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist is responsible for directing all therapy services for assigned patients and designing functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities. Educating patients, families, coworkers, and self is a key responsibility, along with performing various professional duties related to comprehensive patient care and the development of specific therapy services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop effective treatment plans focused on patient progression.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval when necessary.
• Participate in student training programs, offering supervision and evaluating student performance.
• Create a personalized professional development plan and pursue continuing education.
• Adhere to state practice act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active/state licensure in good standing for Physical Therapy.
