Overview
The PM Pastry Cook is responsible for plating, quality, quantity, and timeliness of the pastry station. They will prepare products in accordance with Fitler Club recipes, standards, and procedures under strict sanitary conditions. 

Responsibilities 

• Ensure that all food products have been prepared correctly and are prepared to Fitler Club’s recipes and standards.
• Clean equipment and station, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion
• Manage proper storage temperatures according to ServSafe regulations
• Work consistently with others in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
• Follow grooming and uniform standards established for this role
• Working as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers
• Always being positive, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team members
• Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors

Qualifications 

• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and multitask with good time management
• Solid experience in relevant pastry positions, production experience strongly preferred.
• Able to work quickly and adapt to meet flow of demand. 
• Able to stand for full shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. 
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles preferred 
• Solid understanding of food preparation and basic pastry methods across varied styles.
• Able to stack, decorate, and write on cakes.
• Experienced in bulk production and catering-style pastry work for banquet events.
• Able to temper chocolate and write in chocolate. 
• Able to follow recipes and verbal instructions with minimum supervision.
