Role Overview: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Services are delivered across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and patient-centered manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies tailored to patient needs. Implement and adjust treatment activities, providing ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals as appropriate. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education according to departmental guidelines. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication within the team. Foster a positive, respectful environment, demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork. Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory education, and training activities to maintain licensure and skills. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
