Job Title Financial Advisor (FA) Location Brooklyn, New York, United States of America Overview The FA role is a three‑year program with a forgivable draw. The Financial Advisor will provide financial planning guidance and sell investment management solutions to TD Wealth clients, leveraging their experience to address complex client needs. Responsibilities Serve as the central client contact, delivering comprehensive service and developing relationships to increase share of wallet. Review clients’ financial goals and make investment recommendations aligned with those goals. Execute a complete onboarding experience for all new clients, including financial needs analysis, introduction to the client servicing team, and completion of requisite documentation. Partner and promote lead generation initiatives. Plan, prioritize, and manage daily tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Conduct annual client reviews (ACR) with an enhanced agenda focused on overall wealth needs and proactive contacts. Manage all aspects of TD Wealth client relationships and refer appropriate clients to Retail, Small Business, or Commercial partners. Implement and execute a differentiated service model for TD Wealth clients. Meet quarterly and annual sales goals, deepening wallet share and maximizing profitability while ensuring an exceptional client experience. Identify opportunities within portfolios and networks to refer business to Retail and Small Business/Commercial partners. Execute compliance processes, including adherence to federal, state, and firm regulations (OCC, SEC, NY DFS, etc.) and maintaining required continuing education. Implement TD’s Customer Identification Program (CIP) and perform other due‑diligence requirements. Assist in fostering a positive work environment, providing coaching and feedback to colleagues, and ensuring a collaborative team culture. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 2+ years of experience providing advice, planning, and investment sales. Required licensing: SIE, Series7, Series63, and L&H and Series66 (or the ability to obtain all within the licensing schedule). Self‑directed with strong ability to plan activities to achieve sales and referral goals. Advanced knowledge of wealth products and services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to travel within the assigned market to meet prospects, clients, and partners five days a week, and to commute within the territory. Proficiency in wealth‑management business‑development techniques, including experience interacting with retail and small‑business banking clients. Consultative sales experience required. Proven ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with other departments. Track record of achieving sales goals. Physical Requirements Continuous operating standard office equipment, responding quickly to sounds or other signals, reading, writing, comprehending instructions, performing multiple tasks and operating under standardized situations.
