HVAC Controls Technician

HVAC Controls TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to join a growing team supporting commercial, industrial, and municipal facilities throughout the Gulf Coast region. This field-based position is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing HVAC control systems and building automation systems (BAS). The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with DDC controls, and enjoys working directly with customers and project teams to deliver high-quality system performance.ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and commission HVAC controls and building automation systems (BAS)Perform controller startup, point-to-point verification, wiring inspections, and system testingTroubleshoot DDC controls, controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, dampers, and communication networksRead and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, sequences of operation, and project documentationDiagnose and resolve electrical, control, communication, and system performance issuesSupport startup, functional testing, and system optimization for new and existing installationsCoordinate with project managers, programmers, engineers, subcontractors, and customers throughout project executionTrain end users on system operation and basic maintenanceComplete service reports, startup documentation, and project records accurately and on timeFollow all company safety standards and jobsite requirements
