Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

This position is located in Alaska.

Schedule consists of 3x12 hour shifts, covering both day (07:00 - 19:00) and night (19:00 - 07:00) shifts. Weekend availability is required.

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. The RN will work collaboratively with other medical staff to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care to patients in the emergency room.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Assist in emergency procedures and support advanced life support measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Alaska (pending licenses accepted but must be valid upon start).
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
