Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position starting on November 16, 2026.

Schedule

Night shift available with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) to join our high-paced telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple and complex diagnoses, with a focus on adult to geriatric patient care. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and participate in patient rounds.
• Perform nursing interventions as needed in high-volume settings.
• Float to other care areas within the facility during low census as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or similar unit.
• Active RN license for Maryland or Compact State.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic.
• Telemetry patient ratio experience (1:5; up to 1:6 with lower acuity).
