Key Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that are contextually sensitive and evidence-based. Provide targeted counseling interventions aimed at helping clients overcome personal obstacles, enhance coping mechanisms, and improve mental wellness. Stay updated on the latest counseling methodologies and practices to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to patients. Maintain a warm and engaging demeanor during all counseling sessions to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship. Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment modalities as needed to optimize outcomes and client satisfaction. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to refer clients when additional services or specialized care is required. Patient Population / Client Focus The LPC will work with a diverse population at our community health clinic, supporting clients grappling with various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Our clients come from various backgrounds, necessitating culturally competent care and an individualized approach to treatment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that every individual feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Qualifications A master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required. Valid state license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly. Demonstrated capability to customize treatment plans that are responsive to the unique needs of each client. A proactive attitude towards referring clients to other healthcare providers when necessary. Preferred Experience Experience in a community health setting or working with marginalized populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to manage client information effectively. Experience in integrating wellness strategies and holistic approaches into psychotherapeutic practices. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
