Phlebotomist

Job Title and Location Phlebotomist – Centerville, TX 75833 Work Schedule Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:30pm; Friday 7:30am – 11:30am. Additional hours/rotating Saturdays may be requested as needed. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment. One or more years of experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric – geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency required if work experience is absent. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills (written & verbal). Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Incentive Program Phlebotomists may be eligible for the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
