Our mission is to create sustainable adhesive solutions that improve the work, products, and lives of our customers - we're passionate about making a difference!This role is responsible for moving material with stand-up forklift, pallet jack and other equipment to appropriate areas as needed. Deliver high-quality cores, correctly marked and sized, to the appropriate machine.How you'll help the formula:Uphold company safety, environmental and quality standards.Determine from Material Orders at each machine the material and cores required and when and deliver to those machines on a timely basis driving a forklift approx. 95% of the shift.Enter information into SAP.Cut high quality, correctly sized cores. Core mark as needed.Work safely with sharp blades.Move materials to appropriate areas such as, but not limited to, moving jumbos, packing materials, skids, etc.Check coated jumbo racks once per week for accuracy.Bring finished goods from the shift to the dockReturn raw materials to the warehouse with proper tags. Have the Operator fix any incorrect or non-functioning tags before they move on to the next material.Stock the running machines for the next shift with at least two (2) hours of material before the end of the current shift.Fill packaging PSAs, including the 130.Take full scrap gaylords to dock and replace with emptiesEmpty all trash at the end of your shiftAssist operators with changeovers, splicing, and help take rolls off the spoolers and other functions as needed. Load cores into machines as necessary.Keep machinery in good working order by adjusting as necessary, replacing shaft sleeves and lubricating pads when worn, communicating with blade tender to assure supply of ready to use blades.Perform key inventories including use of SAP.Fill extruder racks with resin.Wrap and band unsecure pallets in the warehouse (all pallets should be wrapped or banded before putting back in the warehouse)Work on cleaning up ID-Rec.Wrap finished goods on the dock and band the skids that are required to be banded.Work on crap lists when they are availableKeep work area(s) neat and clean.Perform preventive maintenance as needed.Train new employees as instructed.Performs other related duties as required.Physical Demands:Stand and walk a significant part of the scheduled shift. Lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 85 lbs.; pull up to 3,000 pounds with a pallet jack.Requires good hearing and correctable vision.Follow and give written and oral instructions/communication, and work without close supervision.Capable of earning and maintain a forklift license.Work in a group concept; self-motivated; and able and willing to be cross-functional.Key elements for your role:High school graduate or equivalent work experience with basic math skills, written and oral communication skills as well as mechanical skills.Previous machine related experience preferred.Requires good hearing and correctable vision.Stand up a significant part of the shift; lift up to 50lbs, and occasionally 85lbs, with or without assistance.Must be able to work in a group concept environment.Must be able to pay attention to details and knowledge of the metric system preferred.Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with others.Hours: any as required, including overtime.Must be able to work within the framework of 5S, ISO and TS requirements.
