Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an adult Intensive Care Unit setting during day shift hours
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill adult patients in accordance with facility protocols
• Perform stroke-related assessments utilizing NIHSS certification and established clinical guidelines
• Adhere to department guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, and float assignments
• Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• NIHSS certification required
• Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience in a large acute care or Level I Trauma Center environment
• Stroke care experience in an ICU setting
