Job Description & Unit Details

Join an acute care critical care team operating under an evidence-based clinical practice model. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will serve as a clinically competent practitioner managing a high-acuity patient population with minimal guidance.

• Patient Population: General critical care population, including dedicated care for active COVID patients.
• Charting System: EPIC (Prior experience is highly preferred).
• Assessment Requirement: Strict Testing Mandate. Travelers must achieve a score of 85% or greater on the facility's Basic Arrhythmia exam during onboarding to clear compliance.

Strict Submission & Radius Rules

Profiles failing to hit the exact parameters below will face automatic rejection by the VMS:

• Radius Restriction: Strict Mandate. The candidate's permanent address must be 50 miles or more away from the hospital campus. Local travelers within 50 miles are not accepted.
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 full years of dedicated Critical Care / ICU experience is required.

Licensure & Certifications

• State License: Active, clear North Carolina (NC) state RN license or active multi-state Compact license in hand at submission.
• Certifications Required: All credentials must be active and AHA-issued:
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • BCLS
