The Role:
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll be working directly with youth in our residential program, helping to implement therapeutic plans, build trust, and support emotional and behavioral stability. Think of yourself as part mentor, part motivator, part “let’s try that coping skill again.”

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily supervision, support, and positive engagement to residents
• Assist with the implementation of treatment plans under clinical direction
• Monitor behaviors and model healthy communication and coping strategies
• Complete accurate documentation of interventions and observations (yes, paperwork—we know)
• Support with crisis de-escalation using approved therapeutic techniques
• Work closely with therapists, nurses, and admin staff (we’re all in this together)
• Occasionally win at Uno or lose gracefully at ping pong—it’s in the unofficial job description

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s in psychology, social work, or related field a plus
• Experience working with youth or in behavioral health is preferred
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and set consistent, healthy boundaries
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overnights as needed
• A good sense of humor, a big heart, and a reliable alarm clock
