Electronics Tech for Fastwater Staffing

Job TitleWHAT YOU'LL DOWork within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and operations personnel on pressure vessel fabrication and assembly as part of overall AUV production integrationFabricate complex wire harnesses, solder electronic modules (including PCBAs), and modify COTS componentsPerform configuration tasks to flash/load correct SW/FW versions onto devicesBuild, test, and integrate complex electrical assemblies into our world-class AUVsDesign, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build and test efficiencyFollow detailed electrical and manufacturing documentation to build to engineering specificationsHelp develop, document, and improve the pressure vessel production process5S work areas, perform part inspections, close out work orders, and follow safety best practicesSupport management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies (maintenance, calibrations, raw material stock)Potential for travel offshore to support operations team as needed under the contract scopeREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS4-12 years of relevant electronics technician experience in fields such as Robotics, Defense, or AvionicsCapable of carrying out detailed electro-mechanical assembly work with tight-tolerance components/enclosures and complex wire routingsFamiliarity with electrical engineering principles and conceptsFull understanding of the manufacturing life cycleExperience working off of technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawingsCommitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountabilityAbility to perform electrical debug including use of tools such as a digital multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.Extremely organized and detail-orientedExcellent verbal & written communication skillsStrong sense of urgency and enthusiasmEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in sub-sea robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment)Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDCExperience working in avionicsSubsea cable splicing or fabrication experienceExperience with pressure vessels and/or pressure systems/equipmentIPC 610 and/or 620 CertificationPrior experience working with JIRA, Teamcenter (PLM), or NetSuite (ERP) or equivalentExperience with low volume/high mix manufacturing
