Production Operator

Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate vision inspection and measurement systems during productionLoad and position parts for automated measurement and inspectionMonitor vision system performance and inspection resultsVerify part dimensions and tolerances using vision equipmentIdentify defective or out-of-tolerance parts and report issues to supervisors or quality teamsPerform routine system checks, calibration verification, and basic troubleshootingMaintain inspection records and production documentationFollow quality procedures, safety standards, and work instructionsAssist with setup and changeovers for different part typesKeep work area clean and organizedEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or machine operation preferredBasic understanding of dimensional measurement and inspection processesAbility to read blueprints, drawings, or measurement specifications preferredFamiliarity with vision systems, cameras, or automated inspection equipment is a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer skills for data entry and reportingSkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer skills for data entry and reportingExperience using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring toolsKnowledge of manufacturing quality standardsWorking ConditionsManufacturing or machine shop environment requires prolonged standing, lifting, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsLift materials up to 50 lbs.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexteritySafety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
