Physical Therapist - PT

Role Overview: A Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in hospital settings. They develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using manual therapy and exercises, operate specialized equipment, and monitor patient progress. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient education are essential components of the role. Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, create and implement treatment plans, adjust interventions based on progress, document outcomes, and ensure safe, effective care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention. Participate in discharge planning and maintain compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications: Valid physical therapy license and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a doctorate degree and experience, though new grads are welcome. Skills: Critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to assist with equipment, and the capacity to work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
