The Cybersecurity Analyst assists with the deployment, management, and maintenance of security systems, and their corresponding or associated software across the organization's various information systems. Starting Wage Range: $99,267 - $101,50/annually DOE. Location: This is an in-person position located in Fairbanks, Alaska. What you will do Perform security assessments on all Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. Provide baseline and security reports to IT and OT stakeholders, as needed. Perform and report the results of system audits, in alignment with prescribed security standards. Create, review, and edit system security procedures and documentation. Assist with IT and OT information security design and integration. Work with stakeholders to ensure adherence to system security requirements. Plan, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to validate security postures and controls. Review, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts within the environment. Proactively monitor the environment to detect and implement cyber-attack mitigation before a breach occurs. Review real-time and historical reports for cybersecurity and/or compliance violations. Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to staff on effective practices for safeguarding information. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer support and ensure a consistent high-quality experience for all stakeholders. Learn, adopt, and apply safety programs. Conditions of Employment Must pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug test thereafter in accordance with the published policy of Doyon Utilities. Must have a valid driver's license issued by the State of Alaska. Must be eligible to work on a military installation in Alaska. Eligibility to work on a military installation includes compliance with Department of Defense mandates with respect to employee background and health directives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Required 3 years working with Information Technology and/or Operational Technology systems. Required Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team. (required proficiency) Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, applications, and analysis. (required proficiency) Demonstrated strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. (required proficiency) Demonstrated advanced understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networks. (required proficiency) Demonstrated advanced understanding of Department of Defense cybersecurity standards. (required proficiency) Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Cloud products, e. g. Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Entra. (required proficiency) Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and standards.
