Project Manager II - Pharma Services

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple small and large improvement projects, process improvement projects, and business-related initiatives from initiation through completion.
• Track project progress and manage execution of cross-functional plans.
• Facilitate cross-functional interactions to ensure projects are completed within deadlines and in compliance with the service plan.
• Oversee and guide day-to-day sample process flow activities and accurate reporting of results.
• Maintain data integrity of resource trackers and capacity charts.
• Ensure projects align with established best practices.
• Manage the CAPEX budget and update and maintain project dashboards.
• Communicate project reports and status updates to stakeholders.
• Implement and incorporate best practices within the clinical sciences team.
• Foster continuous improvement through knowledge and experience exchange.
• Proactively identify project risks, bottlenecks, and potential delays.
• Challenge assumptions and perform critical path analysis.
• Maintain clear documentation of project requirements.
• Conduct lessons-learned sessions to drive future improvements.
• Engage, influence, and manage diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive projects to completion with minimal supervision and independent judgment.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Life Sciences preferred.
• 2-5 years of project management experience within the diagnostic, medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
• Experience leading product development or process improvement projects.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
