Accounting ClerkComfort Flow Heating is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our accounting processes and support the overall financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, accurate, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Receive and sort incoming payments with attention to credibilityManage the status of accounts and balances, identify inconsistenciesIssue and post bills, receipts and invoicesReceive incoming customer calls, direct to appropriate department if not accounting relatedMake collection calls to ensure customers remain informed on their outstanding balances and deadlinesUpdate A/R database with new accounts, missed payments and other relevant information; makes notes about conversations to refer to laterOther duties as needed or assignedThe successful candidate will:Maintain confidentiality of customer and company informationMaintain a regularly punctual attendance recordMinimize number of billing discrepanciesEffectively maintain customer informationEffectively communicate with customers, accounting team and managementProfessionally and positively represent the company through interactions and appearanceSkills and Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent1+ years customer service experienceAbility to type 35-40 wpm and experience with 10-KeyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSalary Range: $19-$21/hourJoining our team means becoming part of a dynamic and supportive work environment that values growth, integrity, and excellence.
