About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Macon, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Every Other Weekend | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary respiratory care in a Level 3 NICU, including critical care of neonates 22 weeks gestational age and above
• Perform neonatal and adult intubation and advanced airway management independently
• Obtain arterial blood samples and assist with high-risk, low-volume bedside procedures
• Apply adult critical care skills including arterial line insertion
• Float within hospital scope of practice and to an additional affiliated facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT not accepted
• Georgia RRT license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in neonatal critical care, including independent function in a Level 3 NICU
• Proficiency in adult critical care skills including intubation and arterial line insertion
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
• Experience floating across multiple units or facilities
